Sustainable Dubuque

The Sustainable Dubuque Collaboration was created in 2011 to carry on the goals of the original Sustainable Dubuque Task Force, a citizen-driven process to create a sustainability vision for the community, and Dubuque 2.0, an initiative to inspire sustainability in the community.

An initiative managed by City of Dubuque Sustainability Coordinator, Cori Burbach, its primary purposes are to coordinate community education and engagement among partners committed to achieving the Sustainable Dubuque vision, and to coordinate efforts to collect data and monitor progress towards meeting community-created goals.

Numerous Community Garden initiatives have been supported though the Sustainable Dubuque Community Grant Program.
